Billingham Youth Council
If you are aged 11-18 and want to get involved in your local area then Billingham Town Youth Council is a great place for young people to come together and get valuable experience of local government.
The Role of a Youth Councillor is:
- To seek out views and opinions held by other younger residents of Billingham
- Represent the views of others and wider audiences,
- Be aware and raise issues that affect young people locally and nationally.
- Work alongside adults, decision-makers and providers of services (such as health, leisure & education) to get young people’s voices heard.
