I grew up in Billingham and moved back after studying in Leeds. I worked in the NHS in Teesside for five years, firstly on the Graduate Management Training Scheme and later as a Commissioning Manager. I’m currently at Durham University preparing to undertake a PhD study into the links between public opinion and NHS performance.
In my personal life, I have two children in primary school and help in the running of the local congregation of our church. I put myself forward for the Town Council because I believe in improving your community, and want to represent Billingham people.
