I have been a Billingham resident since 1973. I am a retired teacher, having been Head of Modern Languages at Brunner School, later Billingham Campus.

I led the campaign to set up Billingham Town Council and have been a Councillor since the first elections in 2007.

I have served as Chair of the Council in the years 2010 -2011 and 2014 – 2015.

My name is Helen Atkinson and I have lived in Billingham all my life. I have been an elected member of Billingham Town Council, representing the West Ward, from when the Town Council was formed.

I hope that I have served Billingham residents well. I will continue to try to make a difference by presenting your views to Billingham Town Council and to Stockton Borough Council.

Please feel able to contact me by email or telephone with any comments/concerns.
