I am a part time worker - full time housewife with 4 children, 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren to keep me busy.

I have been indirectly involved with the Town Council and several issues for a number of years due to actively supporting my husband in his council duties.

2 years ago I decided to become pro-active and get involved as a member in my own right so I can try and do good for the town and residents of Billingham.

I was first elected to Stockton Borough Council to represent Charlton’s Ward in Billingham in 1987.

On SBC I am Cabinet Member for Adult Services and Health. I am involved with Tees Esk & Wear Valley Mental Health Trust, Shop mobility and I am Chair of Stockton District Advice and Information Service (CAB).

I was Mayor of the Borough from 1998/99.

As a Town Councillor I look forward to continuing to help make Billingham a better place.
